Kisii County Government Recruitment Process
Kisii County Government recruitment process capitalizes on transparency starting with the fact that it is free of charge and then the systematic approach to recruiting candidates.
The process involves different phases starting from declaration of vacancies, submission of application by interested candidates, assessment of applications, shortlisting, screening and appointment.
1) Declaration of Vacancies: In pursuant to article 235 of Kenya constitution as well as section 59 of the county government Act, the Public Service Board periodically announce open vacancies and invites application from interested and qualified persons.
2) Submission of Application: This notice is thrown to the general public via the county website and candidates who have interest for any of these vacancies will then fill and submit application via the online job portal (www.kisii.go.ke).
3) Assessment of Application: The county public service will assess submitted applications based on the job requirements, qualifications and experience specified in the official advert.
4) Shortlisting: Result of the assessment done is release shortlisted candidates, which is usually published on Kisii County Government recruitment portal.
5) Screening and Appointment: Persons shortlisted are further scheduled for a screening exercise where interview will be conducted, documents/certificates evaluated. Candidates who pass this last phase shall then be offered appointment.
